No card sharks here. The team was all in on meeting with Native American HR professionals at the NNHARA conference on September 23rd to the 25th.

Held at the beautiful Mystic Lake Casino, the conference kicked off with the entertaining and bowtie wearing Paul Long. He explained how his Fundamism philosophy can connect life and work through his acronym F.U.N., and empower people to gravitate more toward the things that give you strength and fulfillment in life.

During the conference, the team engaged with HR professionals in various tribes and businesses throughout the country. Many complimented on the simplicity of our integrated system combined with a virtual coach to better manage diabetes. They also loved our branding in regards to our logo, brochures, taglines and, of course, Charles, our French bulldog mascot.

The closing keynote with standup comedian James Junes got the room both laughing and tearing up. He intertwined his comedic timing with his personal experiences on battling inner demons and cancer. As the VP of NNAHRA put it best, James didn’t just survive cancer, he kicked its a**. This message compliments how Pops helps people with diabetes, which is to Show Diabetes Who’s Boss.
